I own a male 16 month old Pyrenees and we just love him. He is very gentle and such a great personality. He loves his walks and is very sociable with all types of other dogs. He is making a wonderful pet and companiom.

I love my 2 great pyrenees wonders. My fiance and I have a female and a male. Sweetie is due to have our first litter of pups on June 1st. They take excellent care of our livestock, swine, and goats, they even love the cats. I have had alot of dogs in my life time, but Sweetie and Apollo are the best. I can't imagine my days without them, with thier eager to see me, almost smiling faces. To watch them work with our livestock is amazing, they are so gentle. They are one of the biggest parts of our day. We love them. They were the best investment we ever made.

I love this breed! These dogs are sooo beautiful and cute. I have been in love with them the first time I saw them! I also like the picture of all the dogs together with the owner and floating water underneath.

I lost my cocker spaniel two days before Christmas so now I'm looking for a replacement. I'm looking into many different breeds and would love a big lovable dog that will be good with my son (and any other children that may happen along). I've heard so much about this breed, I just had to look them up. They are certainly beautiful!!!

I really enjoyed viewing this site. I love my "big white dog with a big black nose" soooo much. I adopted him from the animal shelter and he is the best pet!

Neat page! We recently adopted a female (unsure of age, though shelter personnel feel she's under a year old). Our neighbors adopted the male, so we were able to keep them somewhat together. They do want to roam, but we've had no other problems. Keep up the good work.

We have two beautiful Great Pyrenees -- Elsie and Bear. They are two years old in March and April of this year and are the most wonderful, loving, gentle dogs I have ever known. I also have two black labs, a blue tick hound, and a shelty mix. There is nothing to compare when my husband and I come home from work everyday to these six wonders. I have s and will gladly send them. Bear is our male and he is definitely the "gentle giant" of the Great Pyrenees. We are waiting on a litter of pups and will be adding another to our home with no reservations. We also have two kids who Bear and Elsie just love. They're temperament with kids is unbelievable. If you don't have one --- please reconsider -- it will be the best decision of your life.

I'm the proud owner of Yana an 8 year old girl. She's not a show dog but the best pet a family could ever have. I'm new to the breed and would love any advise that you have to offer.

Wonderful web site. Thank you for this chance to read and see what other people think about their wonderful dogs. I know, however, that my Pyr, Klatu, is the sweetest of them all! Even if she sprouted sparkling white wings, she could not be more magical to me!

We have two working pyrenees on our land and they are undoubtedly the most intelligent and loving animals that exist. Your sight is a refreshing discovery especially to pyrenees owners.

I RECENTLY HAD TO PUT MY SON LOBO (A PYR.) TO SLEEP. I TOOK MY BIBLE AND SAT WITH HIM AND READ "THE LORD'S MY SHEPHERD" FOR HIM.HE WAS WITH US FOR NINE YEARS AND WAS LIKE A CHILD TO ME.I LOVE DOGS AND GREW TO LOVE HIM DEEPLY. EVEN THOUGH I NEW I SHOULDN'T I GAVE HIM CHOCOLATE CAKE & ICE CREAM AS A TREAT NOW & THEN AND HE LOVED IT.HE LOVED TO LIE ON THE COOL KITCHEN FLOOR ON SATURDAYS WHEN WE WERE ALL HOME.ON SUNDAYS HE WOULD SPEND THE DAY SLEEPING IN THE LIVING ROOM. HE WAS SPOILT AND ARROGANT BECAUSE HE KNEW HE HAD US ALL WRAPPED AROUND HIS PAW. I CRY WHEN I HEAR "STILL THE ONE" BY SHANNIA TWANE BECAUSE THE WORDS SO REMIND ME OF HIM. HE WILL ALWAYS BE A PART OF ME.

Terrific Site Urs. We have a 2yr old male and love him. He amazes us each day with his obedience comprehension. He is claustrorphobic and doesn't like the Eagles (70's band)but nobody said he was perfect.
