| Kodiak came to us in the summer of 1996. I went to visit the breeder of my American Pyrs and to attend the National Specialty of the GPCA. This was a good timing, as the pup was just 8 weeks old and could travel back with me to the Netherlands, After a flight of 11 hours, which he spent in his varykennel in the cargo compartment, we arrived at "Schiphol" and he stepped out of his kennel not impressed at all and was happy to meet us all. This attitude is so very typically for his further developement. He has a "golden" caracter, nothing will impress him wherever he accompanies me. As he loves to get a lot of attention, I ecided to place him with a family where he is the only dog and has not to share with other Pyrs. Kodiak left us in may 1999 to live with a family of his own, where he is pampered and loved very much. Thank you of taking care for him with so much love, Stefanie and Rob !!
